This event is designed to scare, actors will jump out, there will be darkness, strobe effects, smoke machines and loud music.

Escape Alive is not recommended for heavily pregnant women or people with heart conditions however the decision is with the individual

Tickets must be purchased online in advance.

The Duke of the Drowned walkthrough experience will last approximately 30 minutes, whilst the other activities can be enjoy edeither before your entrance slot or after you have gone through the maze

Pick one entrance slot to attend, entrance slots are limite,d so book with your group to avoid missing out

Please arrive 10 minutes early to avoid missing your entrance slot. You will not be able to attend a later entrance slot

Entrance slots are for the walkthrough experience. Once this has ended, you can spend as long as you like in the  entertainment area

Entrance Slots are kept to small groups, to heighten the experience and minimise queuing

Unfortunately, the event is not accessible for people in wheelchairs due to narrow corridors, uneven grounds, steps and tight spaces.

The Duke of the Drowned Walkthrough experience is approximately 30 minutes, but there are plenty of experience to discover which can be done before or after your entrance slot.

No, the ship is completely stationary. The maze and all other activities take place onboard, but the vessel will not set sail.

There are three different scare experiences aboard the ship, each with its own unique theme and storyline.

Alongside the scare experiences, you can enjoy:

Only about a 4-minute walk. The path is well-lit and clearly signposted.

Unfortunately, due to the ship’s layout and the nature of the mazes, the attraction is not wheelchair accessible.

We run two different types os sessions at Escape Alive, Family Friendly (7+) and After Dark (12+). 

Please note: anyone attending under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. 

Yes, tickets are sold online in advance with timed entry slots.

We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early. Late arrivals may miss their slot.

Tickets are non-refundable. Reschedules may be possible depending on availability, contact us for details.

No, each ticket allows one visit to each experience.

No, you can stay and enjoy the games, bar, cinema, and food for as long as you like.

That’s absolutely fine. A member of our team can safely escort you out.

Yes, trained medical staff will be present for the duration of the event.

Yes, this experience uses strobe lighting, smoke, loud noises, and sudden scares. It’s not recommended for those with epilepsy, heart conditions, or certain medical concerns.

We strongly recommend suitable, sturdy footwear — trainers or boots with good grip. You’ll be walking through dark, uneven, and sometimes wet areas as you try to Escape Alive.

No, outside alcohol is not permitted. Bags may be checked on entry.

Yes, costumes are welcome! However, masks and face coverings must be removed before entering the scare zones.

To book After Dark sessions, you must click After Dark and then select any time slot from 7pm. 

To book Family sessions, you must click Family Sessions and then select any time slot between 5pm and 6pm.

Yes we have large car park. Parking costs just £4 and you will be able to pay on the door.
